As to your your question, the hints are then incase you simply just canNOT solve a certain puzzle and advance in the game. Kudos and high-fives for playing PW though.

How do the hints help? I've never played this or any other PL game D: only PW .3.

Little error there, unless they're exiting England on the train, they won't ever spot any mountains as there are none in England, there are some in the other parts of the UK though.
