I am quite sure I would have most of the world agree with me if I said, "PRE-FABRICATED HOMES WOULD BE MUCH MORE OF INTEREST TO THE PUBLIC IF COMPANIES WOULD PUBLISH THEIR PRICES AND MADE IT MUCH MORE ACCESSIBLE TO THE PUBLIC AS WELL. WE ARE TIRED OF THE "FILL IN THE BOXES WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION AND WE WILL GIVE YOU A CALL BACK ALONG WITH JUNKMAIL AND THEN SELL YOUR NAME TO SALES LIST COMPANY"...
On your website, PUBLISH THE G'damn prices!

Why would it be harmful to live in a metal box?

I know someone who built a diesel truck repair shop out of these. He has 4 of them stacked two high about 30 feet apart with a back wall and a roof over the space in between and has spiral staircases installed in the storage units to get from one floor to the other and doors cut in the walls to access the repair bay in between.

Is it possible for you to caption what you are doing during each of the seven days?

@Seyahhsod Amen - I am in the market RIGHT NOW and can't find any published prices - might have to hire a GC to do it. One company - emailed them twice and called once, was told sales guy just left office, will call me back in a couple hours - REALLY ??

@Andrew19036 sure, if you are trailer trash,

@OGdank13 way to think inside the box! lol

@meraiahf You’re inside a metal box, your grounded. Vents are a hole away. This is a great idea. Just have to get it built b4 the housing industry finds out and makes it illegal. Imagine $15,000 and your up with electricity, h2o, heat. All off the grid, and moving is just packing your house on a flatbed or two. Expansion is just like playing with Lego building bricks,
It's one of those beautifully simple ideas that makes me think "What didn't I think of that?" So much potential...

So could you ship this around anywhere and have an apartment? Do you think it is harmfull to live in a metal box?

@TruthSmack Personally, I can't see any harm in living in a metal box, provided it is well grounded (for electricity) and well ventilated (so you don't die of C0 poisoning when you're running your LPG stove). Most developed countries have surpluses of shipping containers thanks to their trade deficits with China (ie, they import more than they export) so you can usually pick one up quite cheaply.
