It's really wonderful how youtube can shed some light on unjustly forgotten bands. I'm finding out that bands I thought were one hit wonders actually had 20 videos. I haven't heard this in decades (when I paid actual money for the vinyl) and yet remember every note. They can write a good pop song, but it you look deeper you find interesting technical work. So who do you think is an odder-looking couple: Martha and Mark, or Everything But the Girl?

thanks for posting this...i loved this band. had a hard time tracking the cd format of this album but i succeeded. it's great to open up the archives to an audience that today wouldn't know the difference between "alternative and gunge"

My LP is long gone...can't find "This Is the Ice Age" via iTunes...wah! Many thanks for posting this. It's so evocative...of what, I can't put into words, it's too, erm, metaphysical.

ditto that. for the longest time the only had a cover on Youtube which was slowed down and sucked royally. This track is awesome...M & M were a great Canadian New Wave band.
