This Fletcher campaign ad, which opposes casino gambling in Kentucky, offers a fine example of the use of logical fallacy 'post hoc ergo propter hoc' or 'after this, therefore because of this'; it seems to provide a 'righteous' excuse pro criminal behavior (theft of hundreds of thousands of dollars) for a person who was a trusted leader in her community. The (KY-r) governor interviews several other high-dollar thieves who blame their unlawful actions on easy access to local or nearby casinos.
