People they are a toy company, of course they are going to chance the motorized hand scanner for a finger driven one at the last minute. They care about money only. Hasbro has been doing that shit for years, changing cool prototype designs into cheap assed pos versions that ultimately make it to the store.

I got this a few days ago. I am disappointed about the hand scanner not rotating, but I can't imagine what they were thinking with the display screen. Even Playmates could get the backlighting right. I actually managed to disconnect the two lame LEDs on the underside of the display and it looks better not having any backlighting at all as opposed to the annoying two bright spots.

When you display toys, replicas or props form now on try to do it in a brighter room. Low light conditions do not help show off hot great this product is.
It looks cheap because of the low video quality.

OHH! I WANT ONE!!!!

Which should I get first, the medical or science tricorder? I've ordered both versions of the Ent D, and am now completely broke, but that won't last forever... It's not quite as advanced as I was hoping, but it has McCoy's speech so I'll probably buy it just because he's my favorite character. He's grumpy and synical, just like me. Thanks a lot for showing this, love your channel and have since the beginning.

Cool Tricorder it's very real and not a Toy!

Wow, that's pretty nice. I love that old retro design. So, much better than the new Trek's tricorder. Which is way to small.
How much was this, please ?
I love this channel...even if you do post videos of things that I want really badly and can't get my hands onto. :D
