The Hostos Dream Project, Inc. Journey

The Hostos Dream Project, Inc., an organization dedicated to the improvement of the quality of education and environmental conservation within the Dominican Republic is in the planning stages of developing a successful, sustainable school model to execute in under-served school communities within the Dominican Republic. We are in the process of providing highly needed services to the local community of Higuey through the development and construction of ecologically conservative, economically sustainable schools that cater to low-income families and children with special needs, including autism.

Here you will find how we started with after visiting a school in the capital, and our journey from building awareness and fundraising, working with students at NYIT to plan the construction of the school to the gracious donation of the Honorable Karina Aristy and the Ayuntamiento de Higuey Dominican Republic.
