@GrkVenom Any Help would be greatly appreciated from anyone because I have tried everything with this drive and I have had nothing really help at all as none of the burning software recognizes a drive whether it be ROXIO media creator 10 (which came with the laptop), iTunes, and I even tried seeing if NERO would work but to no avail. Also I know Vista sucks but I just don't have the money to bump up to Windows 7, anyone have any ideas for me?

Please Help!!! Got a Vaio VGN-FW170J laptop and 6 months ago I started getting problems with my Matshita bd-cmb uj-120 usb device drive. The Drive itself is not broken because it works in Linux just fine but it won't work in Windows Vista. The problem is that when in device manager I get a yellow flag next to the drive, and the problem states a code 19 error with the registry. I checked out some solutions online like getting rid of the high and low filters in the registry but nothing.
Hi, very nice Vid. But how did you get out the disk drive? Can't get it out :/

@xXLuxftwXx There are screws in the back. You need to remove it before you open the cover.

Hi how do you remove the front bezel of the FW?
Do you need to remove the whole screen off from the hinges?
I'm need to replace the CCFL inverter.
Thanks.

@kaushj Honest answer: I do not know. I don't want to mess with the screen! I shelled out an extra 100 bucks for it and it has been flawless!

I dont want to remove the lcd screen, the inverter is right under the front bezel, so I just need to remove the bezel.

@kaushj
I am not sure about that either. By the looks of it, I would think you might have to pry it open using a flat end screwdriver. I've never done it so I am not giving any assurances. There might be other videos that deal with the screen.
