Great View from the front car. The Queens bound 7 Train. Watch it in full 1080p HD

The 7 Flushing Local and 7 Flushing Express are rapid transit services of the New York City Subway, providing local and express services along the full length of the IRT Flushing Line. The services are colored purple on station signs, route signs, and the official subway map, with local service denoted by a 7 in a circular logo, and express service by a 7 in a diamond-shaped logo.

Local service operates at all times. Express service runs weekdays from 6:30 to 10:00 a.m. going to Times Square and 3:00 to 10:00 p.m. (15:00 to 22:00) going to Flushing -- Main Street. "Super Express" service to Manhattan is also provided after New York Mets games weeknights and weekends at Citi Field and US Open (tennis) games: starting at Mets -- Willets Point and operating express to Times Square, also bypassing Junction Boulevard, Hunters Point Avenue and Vernon Boulevard -- Jackson Avenue. The 7 service operates with 11-car trains, more than any other New York City Subway route.

The 7 has been nicknamed the "International Express," because the route travels through several different ethnic neighborhoods populated by U.S. immigrants, especially along Roosevelt Avenue. This name is not official, nor is the title used in day to day operations.

  • Cool. Did you past by Citi Field where the Mets play?

  • @bobblehead There is a link in the video at the end where you can go to part 2 and you can see.

  • how much does it cost to ride these trains?

and could you bring a bicycle with you on the train?

  • @vinWo316 It depends on the type of fare card you buy. Anywhere from about $2.25 to $2.50.

I see people bringing bicycles on the train but not sure about the rules.

  • thanks for the Videos.. love all of them are you going to do anymore bike rides around the city??

  • @sublimefan421 Hopefully soon thank you so much for your comments, I appreciate it.

  • i take this to pick up a girl i know ;D

  • The train my mom used to take to work :P

  • I ride this like every day.

  • @vinWo316 And my advise for all tourists is to NEVER ride the NYC Subway during the morning and evening rush. I take the IRT Flushing Express (7) to college everyday during that time and trust me, forget about the sightseeing, it's so jam-packed I ought to fight for a spot to stand!

  • @R160BExpress oh' nice, thanks for the info my friend! :)

  • @vinWo316 it costs $2.25 or $2.50 im not sure.

and yes you may bring a bicycle with you on the train IF you let other people board off and on first.

if you have a baby stroller with you make sure you fold it first and hold on to the baby.

  • Great view!

  • That was interesting, tks for the post. Glad it was on an el section and not sub! Cheap fares. How do they get their power, from the track ?
