Reporters get an up-close look at Tranquility, the next pressurized element to be launched to the International Space Station. The node and its cupola, a unique work station with seven windows, will fly aboard Endeavour on the STS-130 mission, targeted for launch on Feb. 7. The Tranquility node will provide room for many of the stations life support systems, and the cupola will provide crew members a vastly-improved view of the stations exterior.

  • NASA, is that the smoking section?

  • looks like a starwars bay window

  • Damn, I just figured out what we have to do to unite this biggering planet. We have to take an atheist from every country, and sent them in to a space-mission. To make this space-station a global endeavour, that would do the trick. One guy, a girl from muslims countries atleast. From every single country, just make sure they dont represent a religion. Then all countries would have their own space-going individual as inspiration, and everybody would be proud and interested in space-exploration.

  • Looks more like a TIE-fighter to me.

  • It's Supposed to Help it's Crew ease their Stress from being confined to a Tin can for Months ahead, All you Need is Dart Vader and His Master Reenact their famous Lines in Front of the Audience for entertaintment, Too Bad that's only In The Movies, In this case why not Install an On Board "Strip Joint" So the Women among the Crew Will Earn an Extra Buck by Stripping for the Boys, i bet you The Crew will Never want to come back down.

  • it's got window shutters so the windows will be shut when ever they aren't used.

  • This is really fine UFO survey module for ISS. With 360 degree HD camera anyone would take juicy top secret UFO videos that even Hollywood cannot imagine. ;D

  • The most expensive balcony in the history of mankind .
