  • The mileage without the extender and with the cell was 38 MPG. The decline, I believe was also due to the excessive output of the cell. I have disassembled the cell, and my + plates are exhibiting signs of extreme oxidization, plus the solution inside the cell was red soup. I have video clips of the plates, but haven't transferred to the computer yet. I am in the process of making a new cell out of .060 316L SS, instead of the .020 304. More to come.

  • OK, I have an update on my first tank of gas. I drove 535.5 miles and took 12.5 gallons of gas. This is 42.8 miles a gallon. This is my best mileage yet on this car, but not by much. I mentioned in the video that I got worse mileage with the O2 sensor extender before the cell. So my next tank of gas is going to be without the extender, with the cell. I will report on the results.

  • Just an update, I have driven 225 miles and have only used 1/4 of a tank. By this time, I am around the 1/2 tank mark. Looking good!

  • This is the first tank of gas I am running it on, so I will let you know later on this week.

  • any fuel savings in your car?
