There has been no 2nd episode of Forbideen Storage aired since you did your review. I wonder if the producers saw your review and realized the show would never be taken seriously, so they decided to cancel the show?

(I know they have at least one more episode that could have been released. They showed clips from it, plus an ACTOR from the un-aired episode was talking about his hopes that it would be shown)

As for locks, most people do buy good locks, and it takes more then bolt cutters to get them off...although you can get them off when a big set of bolt cutters it takes some work and knowing how the lock operated. Its amazing though you will tell someone to buy a good lock, show them the options and you go down after they are moved in and see a suitcase lock on the unit...or no lock at all.

@modette99 $1,000 that mean they be getting a check for $8,000 as the storage company was made WHOLE. In law your only allowed to be made whole, not make a profit...so the Storage Facility did not just make $8,000 on that unit. They got their $1,000 and that is it. Cherry Picking a unit is common, staging one is common, cutting a lock and find nothing in a 12x12 as they somehow cleaned their stuff out is ALSO common. Finding porn, drugs and what have you is also common.

You are right on the money, in The storage business we would only get $100 max on a 12x12 unit. The high amount NEVER happened like in these shows. In fact the piss poor money is why we stopped doing Auctions...whether right or wrong it was not worth out time. Most don't realize if we got $100 and you owed $1,000 we have the legal right to send $900 to a debt collection agency. Now on the flip side of these TV Shows where they show someone bidding $9,000 on a unit, if the person owed

I lost count on how many TV shows failed and went off the air having to do with picking in some form, so of course the have to pump it way WAY up.

It's an 80% loss rate everyone

If you buy 100 units @ say $500. you will more then likely lose $40,000.00

All these TV shows involving buying merchandise (American Pickers, Pawn Stars, Storage Wars, etc...) are aimed to kill the dealer market and the independent business market by our Government who owns the mainstream media that these TV shows are broadcasted on. There are too many people in this world that let the media think for them and they do not think for themselves, it's all about control.
