Dave Weckl, Vinnie Colaiuta, Steve Gadd

drummer's wet dream

they are all monsters with their own specialties, hence why they are doing a trio together. the thing i think is great is that they have all played in Chick Corea's band - Chick has great taste in drummers!

I love Dave and especially Vinnie and dont know Gadd that much. But I was very impressed learning that Gadd is seeming to play so much simpler rythms, though still somehow sounding more interesting and more grooving than the other two. Need to listen to some more Gadd!

Dave: very technical and awake
Vinnie: very acid
Steve: human rhythm
