@07Thenightshadow um blood is always red, when and when it isn't exposed to air. You might think it's blue/purple when inside a person, because the veins give that color.....but that's veins for ya.

@Greenie007 Great news, buddy, Rob Zombie decided to quit out of remaking THE BLOB. He is doing something called LORDS OF SALEM or something like that.

You can see in the very first movie that the blob is white. it turns red from the blood of it's victims which is funny because if blood is not exposed to air, its purple. when it is, its red. And as i recall the farmer's (who was the first victim) blood was not exposed to air. 0_o

I like the '58 blob--it had more organic and elegant texture/color than the overheated CGI modern one. And the 72 one just looked like strawberry syrup

Damn, I just read the article where he says the first thing he wants to change is the Blob's appearance. Apparently he doesn't like that it looked like jelly. So much for my blobbified innards scene.
