@theanimal6592 i'm just saying that there are certain parts in the guitar work that remind me of tera melos. and there is a big difference between ttng and tera melos. but they are both math bands so i can see the similarities

@deathwish959 But the guitar work on JLV's album isn't indie at all. Listen to This Town Needs Guns THEY sound similar to Tera Melos. JLV holds literally no similarities with Tera Melos.

@MartyFriedmanRulez66 Thomas isn't in his prime dude. Long past it. Sure JLV is still pretty good, but you're delusional if you actually think it's even close to on par with TFOT, Doppelganger or even Manipulator. There's not even close to as much creativity or innovation or emotion. The amount of emotion found in What Sound Does A Mastodon Make alone far surpasses the amount of emotion found within JLV's entire self-titled album.
