  • 4. That is without flicking ANY ash. I'm sure it would have a LOT less with the smoker flicking it.

    5. The constant burning of the cigarette, not giving it a break, causes so much more smoke to go through the filter. This is a scientific fact.

    6. The power of that vaccum seems to be MUCH more powerful than someone smoking.. Dragging so hard ALSO leads to more buildup..

Thinking back on it, I don't know if I believe this video was to help. Seems like more of a scare video.

    All due respect,

    Zach

  • @asdafasfasfasfaaqw those a reasonable thoughts. But please keep in mind that the purpose of the experiment is showing what happens in a reasonable amount of time. It's like speed time up to let people understand what's going on in the mid/long term.

  • I found this video very helpful, it actually made my Aunt stop smoking.

  • glad to be helpful :)

    Thx for the video ;)

Besides: Why dont u build a larger holder for cigarettes instead of building 1 holder that barely can manage 1 cigarette at a time...? ;)

  • With all due respect, this experiment is faulty.

I did not come here intentionally to do this, and it's nice you are trying to help, but these are my thoughts.

    1. Nobody uses those generic brands. I'm not sure if leading brands have more or less toxins but I'd imagine cheaper cigs would contain more since they put less care into what they make.

    2. keep in mind some of the smoke IS breathed OUT.. that experiment is without any exhaling.

    3. Your body breaks down a LOT of those bad things.

  • Wished I would have seen this earlier this year. I have been smoking for over 20 years, each day 2-3 packages of cigarettes. I loved Marlboro. Now I got ill from smoking, but a doktor in Germany said to me, that it is not as bad for my Health as I think. I stopped smoking, because I got heavy problems. Doctor says it is not as bad as I think! Maybe she is a smoker herself, I don't understand her. I stopped smoking on the 27th October, and I FEEL FREE NOW!!! Free from Marlboro & Co. Never again..

  • i would change the bong water if i was u

  • Watched this in science class last year, smoking is gross!

  • @mesastilettodeuce in Italy care of smoke-related diseases costs 6bn euro (~8.5bn $) per year to the health system (source SITAB). Either people quit smoking or quit wasting useful public resources of their country. Personal health status of the smoker is the least of the problems.

  • its disgusting sure ... but so what? I have every right to destroy myself (and feel awesome doing it) if that is what i want to do. So could people please quit the damn anti-smoking proselytizing. Its deadly, we get it, we obviously don't care much.

  • i was just wondering if you rolled up alot of weed and put it in that super sucker machine would it extract all the thc out than if it did extract all the thc if i boiled that solution would i be left with concentrated thc crystals at the end ? o_O
