The Neighbours

This is a short scene I directed. I wanted to shoot a scene out off a script I've written. I hope to invoke a sense of curiosity to see more. And also to leave questions like "what happened" and "what's going to happen". This is the end result.
The lovely acting was done by Floris Schalij who plays Ree. Floris also provided me with some impute on the editing and sound, which I'm also very grateful for.

It was shot (by me, for the first time) with an 7D using a rig. The edit and colour-correction and sound design was done by me as well. And the driving of the car and the 'dead' body was both done by my dad.

Quite nice.. Just a few glitches though... The busy signal on the phone it too loud compared to not being able to hear when there's actual talking going on on the other side. In the for last shot Floris is holding his wrong arm (right in stead of left). And if something has happened to his arm, why not show it (p.e. blood or a torn coat)?

But the technique used is pretty good. And I do applaud your challenge to shoot outside a script :-)
