odd fluctuating rpms after windstar intake install. NOTE: when the rpms first hit 2500RPM, that is when i lift my foot off the gas and hold the clutch in. Im engaging the clutch when it bounces up to 1500RPM. So my foot doesnt touch the gas during that time. The light on the dash is where my airbags deployed from a previous wreck :(

  • ok thanks. one more thing was the windstar kit worth the $400?

  • @tunerv6mustang03 Eh, I guess. It's pricey, but its been the most noticeable upgrade ive done to my cars engine so far. The improvement in performance is most noticeble in the higher RPMs (above about 3300RPMs). It pulls a lot better in 3rd too.

  • how did you turn your trip meter into a tach

  • Hold the trip reset button down before you turn the ignition on and itll go into like a test/diagnostic mode. once it goes into this mode you can let go and push the button o go through differet tests until you see the one that says (tac)

  • My mustang did this after i installed my CAI ... you need to tune your ECU to let it know its there ... all you have to do is disconnect and reconnect the negative battery terminal it will reset your ecu if its stock .... if not take it somewhere and have it tuned
