The cabinet has settled on the 3rd Monday of December of every fifth year to be the elections date. This was agreed at a cabinet meeting chaired by President Kibaki at State House. And as Chris Thairu reports, the Cabinet also appears to have found a mechanism for the resolution of the 'two thirds gender rule' controversy.
the problem with having all elections in one day is the skirmishes, have people elect different people on different times.
