Bob Rock and Paul Hyde play as the Payolas in Vancouver. First time in 20+ years. Much more than Spinal Tap. Roots in late 70s early punk Vancouver. Bob (and Ron Obvious) recorded many of the
seminal early EPs including Young Canadians 'Hawaii', the Pointed Sticks, Modernettes, DOA 'WWIII', and of course the Subhumans 'Slave to My Dick' and the anthemic '$#%&* You'. Paul Hyde - quietly brilliant & uncompromising -solo work a fav amongst recovering junkies from the old scene. Vancouver show was sic!
