humans... we are not really on top of the food chain... guns and knives are.... we honestly have NOTHING to protect us... no claws... no fangs.... how about we put a human in the ring with one of those things... then we will see who wins.

Wolves don't care about the moon at all, howling is a method of communication to their or rivaling packs, there are locating howls that let the rest of the pack know where one is
defensive howls which are used to keep wolf packs a distance from each other so there is no conflict over prey
and there are offensive howls
the moon stereo type has been perpetuated through years of superstition
