It's dark. You wake up confused. The world is the same, but you are not you. You don't know how you got there, your mind refuses to go back and give you your memories, your identity. All you have is the assurances from two people you have never seen before. You are plunged straight into the middle of a battle for survival and freedom. And you are the leader.
ESP Games present Miasma, an exciting sci-fi turn based strategy game. Take turns to move your crack team of rebels and attempt to topple the world-ruling corporation Vilhelm Industries, and liberate humanity from its autonomous slumber.

I too liked the trial, and being a fan of grided turn-based tactics games it's nice to see something like this on XBLIG. Only reason haven't unlocked yet is worried it might be a little shallow for me, how many levels are there in the full game?

@flyingbananaskin There are 6 levels in the final game, plus a survival mode where you fight bigger and tougher waves of enemies. I would say that levels 2-6 are about twice the size of the first, as that is meant as a tutorial mission. Did you get to headquarters and upgrading? Happy to hear you're enjoying it so far!

Played the trial of this and from what I could see this is really quite profesionally done for an indie game. I like the plot of fighting against a corporation, it reminds me of Final Fantasy 7 and especially Parasite Eve because of the music, RPG with guns and blond haired main character.
