  • Goldberg lied.

    1. He said that Black Panthers demand for hiring for Black faculty was a call for "racial purity.

    2. He said that the Nazi government was Anti-Christian when Hitler was openly a Christian and preached Christianity.

    3. He said the Socialist Party support WWI. They didn't.

    4. He said the left wants to "transcend notions of class", contrarily the Left believes in "Class Struggle."

    5. He says "revolution" is inherently a leftist ideas.

    LIES!

Never forget that German conservatives set up extermination camps in Africa during the 19th century. The extermination of the Herero was just one example.

  • @zippgun1

The Nazis and the italian facists were anti socialists. They not only privatized(especially Hitler) industries(banks, shipyards etc) but also supported General Franco against socialists.

  • @zippgun1 If that was his motives I would support what he was saying but that isn't at all. He is just a propagandist and yes Hitler was not anti-Christian. "Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord."[21]

    Hitler.

Nonsense. The Soviets built a massive Gulag system which dwarfed anything that had existed before and the numbers of political and other prisoners were millions more in the first few decades of Bolshevik rule than in centuries of Czarism. Millions of murders too. Lenin, Stalin and co survived their comparatively short cushy imprisonments by the Czar's regime-they would never have survived their own Soviet camps or Cheka executioners.

The Nazis and the Italian fascists were indeed fundamentally socialist. The Nazis being socialists within their racist ideology. This was very common on the "hard left" in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century-America's Jack London is a leading example. The old line conservatives in Germany failed to understand this properly, seeing in fascism merely an extreme nationalism which could be tamed and used against communism. It was a fatal mistake, especially in Germany's case.

  • This guy is so sure of himself when he himself is coming out with falsehoods of the sort he accuses Goldberg of making. Hitler wasn't a "protestant"...ever. He was a Catholic. He was ideologically an anti-Christian later, he despised Christianity, but didn't challenge it because it had so many followers and such great influence in Germany. He told his cronies he would leave his fight with the churches till after the war. Hitler himself believed in "god", though not a "Christian" one.

    ""INDEED HE DID DO THAT""

Go read the excerpt yourself. It was a typo. The quote is conclusive in it's assessment regarding how Hitler NEGATED economic competitiveness.

  • "The Cross must fall if Germany is to live."

Popular slogan of the German Faith Movement who "rejected the 'Jewish' Old Testament and searched for traditional Germanic forms of religious expression."
