I use the DADGAD tuning for this song, I edited the last version of this video down at the beginning, basically cause I don't like hearing my accent on video. lol. Hope you like it. I've posted the tabs I have made on my blog site: www.stevencchapmantabs.blogdrive.com
I will update often.

  • You know... I don't want to be too forward. But if you were single and my age and anywhere within a thousand miles of my arms, I'd do almost anything to get you in them... :) I've never heard a girl that can play that well yet (well at least not anyone I KNOW...) And are you playing a Martin or a Taylor? From the deep lows, I'm assuming it's a Martin

  • @techie646 it's actually not a martin or a taylor, but a $200 takamine. haha. i was my first guitar. i now own 3 taylors and have never (and will never) own a martin.

  • OK, hi from western Canada I have heard this song in the traditional irish fashion and really liked it. Is this some southern gospel version of the same song? Is it posted on youtube? Sure would like to here this southern drawl version. By the way some people in western Canada have drawls just like in the U.S. south but not me I'm city slicker prisoner.

  • @camlpg this is not an irish song, this is actually "Lord Of The Dance" by Steven Curtis Chapman. look up the music video. it's outstanding.

  • do you have tabs or somthing for this?

  • Great post. Boy that $200 guitar sounds sweet! Thanks for sharing. God bless.

  • O'YA CAN YOU AD THE CHORD SHAPES TO SLOWLY YOU PLAY GOOD, IT WILL BE A BLESSING TO ME OTHERS AND THE CHURCH IF YOU CAN DO A SLOWED DOWN VERSION.

  • 1ST OF ALL AWSOME SONG, YOUR THE ONLY ONE WHO TEACHES IT, CAN YOU MAKE ANOTHER VIDEO SLOW IT DOWN WITH DETAIL STEP BY STEP EACH NOTE YOU ARE PICKING, KINDA HARD TO SEE WHAT YOU PICKED, IN THE INTRO AND IN THE SECOND INTRO PLEASE IN JESUS NAME, I LIKE THIS SONG!

  • love the lesson, what is the tunig for the guitar?

  • You're a Taylor fan? Good girl. It's always heartwarming to see girls working on guitar skills...we're so few and far between. Anyone can play power chords, but very few ever put enough time into it to learn the really good stuff.

  • @techie646 You'd never own a Martin why not? I prefer Taylors okay girl? I understand lol but I played one martin at the university I'm at last semester. A dude on the drumline with me brought one to his dorm he had gotten out of the shop that day. He said it took like six months to fix because the whole face caved in (How that's possible without a total stage accident I don't know lol) but I played THIS SONG on it and man (maybe it was just that guitar) the chords jumped out and blew me away

  • i agree with orlo1000, u oughta make a instrumental, using what u featured in this vid... could see a lot of views

  • You make it look so easy. You are gifted. God Bless you
