I have always said it was Merkle's mistake in the Giants - Cubs game on Sept. 23, 1908 that created the curse for the Cubs never winning another world series. It wasn't the billy-goat. And the newscaster points out all the other errors Cubs players have made, as well as the hiring of Hank O'Day.

Wow! That is spooky! I don't really believe in curses, but it makes me wonder. I used to feel sorry for the Cubs. But after 2008 I've hated them more & more. I kind of I feel sorry for the fans though.
