I think the books were AMAZING and i also think they did a pretty good job on the movie C: Eragon was the one which movie got TOTALLY screw out of porportion!

The "Dark is Rising" Sequence is what got me hooked on the Fantasy genre years ago. This movie looks pretty good, if not somewhat straying from the original text. I wonder why they did not start this series with Book 1: Over Sea, Under Stone.

I just remembered this. In the scene with the Rider on his horse, it is supposed to be black, not white.

OMGSH I KNOW The books were so pure and amazing and deep and then this idiotic movie was just completely off track and butchered the entire aesthetic and feeling of the books! WORST MOVIE EVER. I was so angry when I saw this. Why spoil something so amazing?

i rlly like da book(yea right im bordering on obsessive (^_^) but dis trailer dissapoints me...it just seems 2 much like a kids movie like bridge 2 terabithia!!! i feel like they damaged a good book somehow!
