  • I fly my birds at 1bl 8oz m and 2bl 4oz f.

The thing on it's head is a hood for falcons, I'm just playing with them.

Yes this take a lot of training.

  • I keep the ferrets near the aivary's so they get used to seeing them, once they are in the field and are flushing rabbits they start to learn the ferrets purpose and realise they are there to help, none of my birds have ever hurt my ferrets :-)

  • Yes her beak is very long , I wish I had done it before this video rather than after and she's due for another coping again soon.

  • Yes Everything that is caught on the farms are classed as vermin.

I give the hawks fresh warm flesh when they catch and the rest is taken away and frozen and fed to them later in the year.

  • Those birds are so pretty i love those colours i was actually looking for rabbits in those colours but i got ferrets instead!!:)

  • So do you use the ferrets to chase the rabbits out and then the hawks kill the rabbits? How do the hawks know not to kill the ferrets?
