A stage in history was laid to rest. On January 19th, 2010, the famous 25 year old stage at Firebird Raceway saw its last day as it was brough down. Seeing the memory filled structure fall was both emotional and saddening, as it has become a signature structure here at Firebird since its first opeing in 1985. R.I.P Compton Terrace

  • Megadeth, Fear Factory, F+J, Metallica... and quite a few more in the 90s I saw here. Cool place.

  • My last show there was Rage Against The Machine..... I saw so many great shows there....

  • Angry Birds

  • I went there for many concerts, 87-92, so many I dont even remember them all. Iron Maiden was my favorite. The ambiance there was great, the grass stairs layout was really cool, the stage too. It is very hard to see your own memories fall down, girlfriends, friends, getting wasted, I dont think there ever will be another time like the 80's up to early 90's!! They took down Compton Terrace but they will never take away our memories of the place. It will rest in peace in all of our hearts.
