@stinkittodaman Where do you get this fact from?
-
do you know what breed the dog was?
-
There was a study that showed hyenas can be infected and carry rabies, but they seem to be unaffected, they show no symptoms and no ill effects of the disease. But not wanting to introduce it into the area was a good decision.

That dog lucked out - thought they might be similar-looking and the same size, a hyena's bite can easily severe a dogs limbs or spinal cord.

shoot the hyena an feed it to ur dog

So it became hyena food either way.

@00mrmonster - Nope, we shot the dog and removed it so it wouldn't bring rabies into the park and spread through different animals.

What happened to the dog, did the hyena eat it?

@00mrmonster - In the end, we had to chase off the hyena and shoot the dog because it was clearly rabid and too much of a risk to leave in the park since it could introduce rabies to other animals (namely the hyena).
