I Can Hear

I Can Hear is an organization that funds hearing aids to underprivileged children in Southern Nevada. This organization began as a project of two high school sophomores, Alex Karabachev and Ryan Wells. They started this project when they heard that hearing disabilities were a problem many children in their school district were facing. These disabilities can be solved with the right treatment. If there is a solution why does our community still face such a problem? This is the question Alex and Ryan thought of when they started their project. The lives of each child can be changed if they are given the same opportunities to achieve their goals. Ryan and Alex decided to fund hearing aids for children in the community. The moment they gave their first hearing aid away in June of 2009 this project turned into a passion. They are continuing to supply hearing aids to children in their community. This is the video of the first child, Jonathan.
