Le Fay Herr Schwarz Bass - Music by Frowin Superfro Ickler

I recorded this one with the fantastic Le Fay "Herr Schwarz" Bass, that means in english "Mr. black" . All sounds are made with this bass, no keys or guitars were used. Switching through the presets of the 6 postion rotary switch makes the different sounds...

As you can hear, it has a killer tone and is very versatile. Le Fay Basses are completely handcrafted in Germany, only the tuners and security locks are not made by them. Even the bridge and the knobs are build by themselves !

The "Herr Schwarz" model is the "basic" model of Le Fay.
It features 3 Pu's, 2 band active electronic (with a push/pull passive knob) with an extra passive tone control, ash body and padouk neck (with carbon inside).

For the recording I used my tc electronic RH450 as an preamp. The DI out is perfect, you get the feeling, the sound "jumps" out of the speaker. I'm using DR Fatbeams strings.
