I read on wikepedia that the creator of Jem wanted to do an updated series of this cartoon, but copy right issues prevented it. Damn.

I put that bit of info in there. But on the good side, not only are Shout! Factory and Hasbro working together to re-release the series on DVD, but The Hub added the show to its lineup of cartoons beginning at the end of this month. So a new Jem series sometime in the future just might happen now.

I still dont understand how Britta didnt become a HUGE massive singer just from JEM. Weren't people like "THE REAL JEM!!!!!!!" I mean..she could have been MASSIVE!
