DOES ANYONE HAVE THIS PROGRAM IN ITS ENTIRETY? Marv Albert and Ferdie Pacheco hosts this NBC Greatest Fights Ever program and the subject is the classic first Muhammad Ali vs Joe Frazier fight from 1971. I know that three NBC Greatest Fights Ever programs has been officially released on VHS: Ali vs Liston I, Ali vs Foreman and Ali vs Frazier III. But never have I seen this being released and it seems to be extremely rare and hard to find. So if anyone out there has it, I'm more than willing to buy it or trade for it.

  • HUNGER OF GLORY VS PRIDE.UNDERDOG VS CHAMP.

  • Frazier was at his absolute peak in this fight and did deserve the win, but never forget Ali's 3 1/2 years' forced exile from boxing which took away his speed and accuracy plus the two fights he had prior to facing Frazier (Quarry & Bonavea) were just too soon up to the title fight for allowing him to be properly match fit.

  • Could the play by play guy be more biased towards Ali. Frazier landed a lot of hooks.

  • R>I>P Frazier-the boxing legend

  • fukkin awesomeness! still remember watchin this at nite on TV and my parents not knowing ..lol

  • ...Frazier. Joe's PRIME ws 67-69' & THAT Smokin' Joe would beat 64', 66', and 67' Ali. Sir Henry Cooper almst KO's him? Seriously? Chuvalo ends up dancing the night away aftr the 66' bout, while Ali was dancing to the urinals to painfully piss blood from his injured kidneys. 71' Frazier v Ali fight? Your boy publicly admitted in sev'l. mid-80's i-views tht Joe "whupped", "beat" him. Period.com, pal.

  • t3dl2: R u on crack, or do u hve ur hed so far up Clay's CRACK, tht ur blind? U say "best version" of Clay is in 64' Liston bout. 22 yr old v. an o-rated, over-the-hill 32 yr old. U thn say "he ws nvr the same since". His "best versions" were "Rumble & Thrilla". Bt here is whn u took one 2 mny hits on pipe. Clay ends up PISSING BLOOD in 66' aftr 15 w/ Chuvalo. Cooper almst KO'd Ali in 66'! Frazier, tho', TKO's Chuvalo into bloody pulp in 4 in 67'. U say a 64' Clay wld KO a PRIME Frazier? Frazie

  • @3244gorilla The best version of Ali was in 64, not 67.

He never fought like he did in the first Liston fight again, his footwork that night was perfect.

So if we talk about a fight between the best version of Frazier & Clay, i say Clay would win by KO.

  • Michaelyouth: Chuvalo easily went 15 w/ Clay in 1966. Frazier TKO'd Chuvalo in 4 in 1967, the only fighter EVER to stop Chuvalo. This 71' Frazier would have beat Clay in 1967, too.

  • @NateTheG0v Great handspeed probably the best in the history of boxin, best footwork of a heavyweight in the history of boxing, best reflexes in the history of boxing, amazing right hand leads, too darn hard to catch, very ringsmart and an iron chin, might just be the best chin in the history of boxing, I think better than Chuvalo's chin. So... Yeah, that is not skill.
