  • Holder is lying to Congress and obstructing justice. Time to appoint a special prosecutor.

  • This is a classic! It's right up there with "It depends on what your definition of IS is".

"It wasn't lying, because I wasn't in a lying state of mind"--if one of my kids tried that line with me, they'd be in more trouble for THAT than for whatever it was they actually did.

  • @Jollycoolwater And Holder has clearly explained how he is not lying. Anyone trying to claim that he is.............is either one big dumb ass or just a piss poor liar!

  • @srexob715 Anyone who can watch Eric Holder clearly lying in all these clips, and still try to defend him is either a total idiot or just plain evil.

  • @Jollycoolwater And WHO said let this slide..........b/c he's black? THE REPUBLICANS, not the democrats. This goes to show that it is the republicans that always want to make race an issue and then project that onto the Democrats.

Its vile and just plain evil.

  • @Jollycoolwater So Holder and his staff provided wrong information. You say it was with the intent to deceive(a lie), I say it was because they really thought they right(wrong).

Second, there is no PROOF to either side, it is based on whether you already had a positive opinion of the current administration or a negative one. You have a negative one!

Thinking BO is trying to destroy the country will only allow this to play into that narrative.

  • @Jollycoolwater Here is a clear example. Of all the shirts you own, which one did you wear on Jan. 11 of this year. Now, if you tell me the blue one, but we find out that you wore the white one..........are you lying or are you just wrong? It depends on your state of mind on whether you INTENDED to provide wrong information because you really thought you did wear the blue one OR because you intended to deceive us for some reason.

  • @Jollycoolwater he's lying point blank to Congress"

Again, he is not lying. You clearly just don't understand. Now let's find out if you are capable of understanding. Holder clearly explained the process in how those letters were drafted, that were sent to the Congressional committee, and contained inaccurate information.

  • @Jollycoolwater Well, provide me with an instance or scenario that would prove me wrong by showing that "intent" is not a requirement of a lie. Asking me a question doesn't prove me wrong, it only proves that you don't understand; hence your reason for asking it.

  • Because Eric Holder happens to be black, we should for the sake of "political correctness", let this slide -- even though a public servant died as a result of it and that he's lying point blank to Congress as well as to all the hard working tax payer who paid for his mansion and all the luxuries of life.

  • @srexob715 So a person, who did actually robbed a bank, professes that he did not rob a bank under oath is only wrong and not lying at all simply because he was in a state of mind of providing the truth? You sir, as well as Eric Holder, are a couple of idiots trying to use silly philosophy to obstruct justice.

  • Holder is right. It does depend on your state of mind. If you are in the state of mind that your intent is to deceive, then providing wrong information is clearly lying. If you are in the state of mind that what you are providing is the truth, then you are only wrong; not lying!
