This is a quick video on cloning an existing hard drive to a new drive. Clone your OS drive so you don't have to reinstall the operating system. Our main camera was not available so we used a mini DV backup, some footage is less than ideal.

  • A vid on Hackintosh’ing would be awesome. :D

But something on cooling, fans and creating a very silent pc. :)

  • @Josso000 Thanks for the feedback. We tried to do a video on a Hackintosh, but the OS install got hosed while trying to perform an update. It's very tricky work, but one that we will try again. The silent PC is now on our list.

  • Looking at the Acronis website it looks like the full version of True Image supports RAID.

  • @ksstudios Does the cloning software copy EVERYTHING? including the operating system and all included programs, windows registry files etc?

  • @wherewolf87 Yes it does. That's the cool thing, no need to install anything at all. It performs a bit for bit copy of all data. You can even migrate to a smaller drive as long as the amount af data being transferred is smaller than the destination drive.

  • why 4x3 video??

  • @gumberly Our HD camera had an unfortunate accident and is being replaced. Had to use an old mini-DV standard def to record this, lol.

  • Bit of help please. I have 2 1TB HDD's in RAID 0 and want to get rid of one of them and get ssd's in RAID 0. could i clone my current raid config to the new one?

  • A vid on upgrading laptops would be cool my Alienware M17(the pre-dell one) needs some upgrades.

  • It truly was an impulse purchase. I will make the switch to SSD as soon as the 100GB drop in price. The smaller ones make me micro-manage my data too much, lol.
