have you people heard tommys live recordings with purple.....i don't think you have because he could not play a solo worth hearing.....but sober and in the studio he was very good but i'll kiss blackmore's ass anyday when it comes between choosing tommy or ritchie
Yeah, MK 2 wrote bad stuff like Perfect Strangers, Son Of Alerik, Wasted Sunsets, A Gypsies Kiss, Anya, The Battle Rages On, Dead Or Alive, The Unwritten Law, Knocking @ Your (Indeed, hopeless banal lyrics : (, backdoor, A Twist In The Tale, Strangeways.
All terrible, hahahaha
Blackmore NEVER smoked, thats charactre and brains.
Tommy just went mentally overboard with all the drugs.
CTTB is a great album but he sure is no Blackmore or Hendrix.
Tommy Bolin was the best thing that happened to DP ... of course those Blackmore ass kissers can't admit this ... I'd say they should stick to the crap he did afterwards, specially these days ...
In 1975 or 76 Deep Purple played Freedom Hall Civic Center in Johnson City Tennessee. They all came into the Burger King and bought everyones meal. No lie! Its now long forgotten in the lore of this part of the country but its absolutely true.
I wonder what Blackmore could´ve done to You Keep On Moving had they recorded it in 1973 for the Burn alum...damn...all this great info and it just makes you dream and make up pictures in your head...I ordered this album together with This Time Around - Live In Tokyo and Live in California ´76 a few days ago...looking forward to re-desover it. Really love Coverdale´s singing on these albums
