Impressive! Way to build up your skills ahead of when you really need them. I bet you felt happy to be back in the air :-)
Interesting effects from the HD camera on landing - first the ground looks smooth as sand, then the rocks come into focus. Maybe it's just an effect of the motion - since when the camera is stopped the rocks are "sharp".

The sand->rock effect is a byproduct of the compression encoding used by YouTube. I assure you in the source video the rocks are very visible before touch down.
