At least they had to good sense to have Rita not sleep with Blake for fear of him finding out who she really was. Too many soaps have people sleeping with evil twins, and not knowing it's somebody else! lol
And i would disagree, the seasons worth watching all the way through were seasons 1-5, and 9.

I know this will be considered as a minority opinion, but as a child (8 at that time I think) watching the series, totally addicted, I though this story line was an amazing thrill. I was terribly worried for both Blake and helpless Krystle, and was very upset with the unresolved resolution. I kept waiting for Joel & Rita to pop up and surprise us all, as a end of a season cliff hanger.

Awful storyline from an awful season. IMO, the only season worth watching all the way through are 1, 2, and 9.

Wow, that was a great moment when Dammy Jo is wondering, and happens to catch Rita peeking out. Sammy Jo realized the scheme had gone too far and too wrong.

You know, this was pretty ridiculous. But God, Rita was fun! Poor Linda didn't have anything to do after Season 3 until Rita came along. Without Rita, we wouldn't have seen the rehabilitation of Sammy Jo, either.
