The video is a recording of 2008 Honda Accord V6 going down a paved laneway at 15-20km to illustrate the rattle and knocking sounds that can be heard and felt in the front suspension. (note at 50-58 seconds is louder)It can be felt through the footpedals, floorboard and stearing column. Issue can be heard/felt with various degree of undulations in the road, particularly sideroads (paved subdivision, parkways, rise in intersection). Potholes and rough roads do not reproduce the issue. The result is a loose feeling driving characteristic to the vehicle.
The vehicle has been to Pickering Honda to confirm and address the issue, but at this time (five months) it is unresolved.
Two advisors at Pickering Honda have separately acknowledged a 'loose scrap rattle sound' and 'something isn't right'. The vehicle went in for an underbody inspection and the tech checked the torque on the bolts. This is the extent that the issue has been addressed to date.
