It wasn't a fart, listen to it more closely. It's actually Sherri Shepard saying "Mhmm" as Whoopi is speaking, though it does sound similar to someone passing gas.

Definitely a live fart let by one of those hosts. They needed to say excuse me or pardon me who ever let it or cut it especially on the air. They can deny it all they want to but it sounds like a fart for sure whether it is the people here or the camera crew.
