Get to level 20 take the explorer perk and you know where everything is :D that is the easiest way to tell you.

Sure, well, there's a few random encounters where you can get the map marker for it. That makes it much easier. The Oasis is a huge pain to find even if you know where it is. It's pretty much at the top of the map and almost right in the center. You have to go through a gorge to find it.

Also if you go to the Dickerson Tabernacle Chapel there's a guy you can kill to get the coordinates. Might be easier that way.

The trees and plants only exist in this one area, known as the Oasis. It's not part of the main story at all. If you go there and start the mission you can find out the answer to your question, unless you still want us to tell you. I gotta say this quest is one of the best in the game for the interesting moral choice you have to make.

can someone tell me how the wasteland came all beautifull with trees everywhere?cause i dont really know..if it has anything to do with the fallout story dont tell me please because i want to know by my own hehe
