A Quick video to show the wooden blades installed on my ametek, I have already achieved 105 watts with these blades Pvc ones only 82 watts, I am also setting up a forum on my website to help other people showcase their efforts, my website is: www.windchasers.eu

  • hi dean, send me a pic or better still put here on you tube and do a video, see u buddy

  • they are in the shed has a reserve should these ever break or something, see u dean

  • with a bike speedometer, its pretty easy to set up and cheap to buy, magnet on the blades get the sensor onto the body of your turbine make sure they are not touching allow 3 to 4 mm clearance, check it anyway to see it working before putting on top of the tower, then it will tell you maximum rpm, how long it's been spinning, number of calories burnt (lol), etc..

see all

  • thanks humbertini my wind turbine is doing good to! thanks

  • cool video! what did you do with the pvc pipe blades? nice anemometer

  • From what you stated, you're getting up to a 28% gain in power generation with your new blades. Good job. In your video, you stated 4 ~ 7 Amps at 500 RPM. I haven't yet measured the RPM on my turbine, but do measure the wind speed with an anemometer. How did you measure the RPM? Thanks.
