Diddy Kong Racing Walkthrough Pt 90: Adventure 2 - Dragon Forest Silver Coin Challenges

Windmill Plains: This course isn't too bad. The coins are in difficult to reach locations, but they aren't really hidden. This just requires some good piloting and planning ahead. Don't try to get all of the coins on one lap. Spread them out through the 3 laps so you can stay safely stay in first.

Greenwood Village: If you don't have T.T., get him now. Honestly. This race is the hardest race in the entire time. Not only are your opponents damn fast, but there are a few coins that will easily add 5+ seconds to your race. Firstly, 10 bananas by the second lap is almost a must. The video shows where the coins are. Only T.T. can jump over the well (allowing you to pick up the coin in the well and the one behind it), saving you LOTS of time. If you are using anyone else, you'll have to fall into the well and use the passage down there to get out. Depending how you get the coin by the log caverns will make or break the race.

Boulder Canyon: Pretty simple, just view video.

Haunted Woods: Difficult if you don't plan ahead. 10 bananas is a must as you should avoid most of the Zippers. This makes grabbing coins a lot easier.

That's by far the hardest track in the game. You'll get it eventually. It took me several cuts before I finally got it.

Why is everybody thinking Greenwood Village is the hardest coin challenge? I´ve beaten it with Diddy in the first time, without A tipping...Sliding makes the difference...

I find it quite interesting that most agree Greenwood Village to be the hardest Silver Coin race in the entire game. I did that once with my brother assisting me in the 2-player coop, picking up 10 rockets and unleashing them all on the opponents who came closing in on the finish line, stopping them right there and allowing me to finish first. That was so damn satisfying.

Just got through greenwood village after about 2 hours stuck at this place.

On the first lap I catched coins #2 (not the one over the hole but the one near of the zipper), #3, #4, #5, #7,#8 and I catch 10 bananas (yes, it's freakin hard). On the 2nd lap I catched coins #1 and #6. After that you have the final lap to get at the first place.
