This won't be a 'sport' for very much longer. Depending on the severity of the upcoming global financial collapse, I'd say this will be a way of life for some.

A good percentage of the upland hunters use a double barrel for more of a sport or a 20 gauge (less range). 870 is my go to- for reliability. Any premium ammo today,2 3/4 4-6 shot will be adequate.
