Logitech to my knowledge are horrible products with the Mac. THeir Mouses also do not live up to their advertised quality. I run Rocketfish Mouses, and I will only use Isight Cameras, because I know they are good. Logitech has close ties with Microsoft, so of course they are going to lessen the quality for Macs and charge more, its not their primary concern.

Hey torley great review I'll watch out for Logitech products from now on,

But just FYI: 640x480 is only the size at which it records, I'm assuming they don't post the framerate at which 640x480 records at? (~23 frames per second will look fluid and fine to a human being, anything greater is even better, anything less begins to look jerky and slowed down)

I've gotten al my old "Windows" Logitech webcams to work in OS X with something called macam (Google it)

It comes with it's own viewing app but the webcams work great in Photo Booth as well after installing it. I can even use the Xbox Live Vision camera now.
