Two days of high altitude moto riding in the San Juan Mountains with Jose Armesto. The Calico trail leaves the old mining town of RICO and heads up to above 12,000 ft, to the Lizard Head Wilderness border. This is about 40 miles south of Telluride, CO. Great riding-- help keep this trail open to motorcycles. Not a beginner trail -- some serious dropoffs, rock ledges, and high altitude exposure.

It blows me away that motorcycles are allowed on some hiking/biking/horse trails in Colorado. I don't know of any trails like that here in Oregon. We have some moto-specific trails but no multi-use ones that I know of like that. I was born in Denver but moved away. I think I wanna move back.

@grinderbike Funny we also hike, horse back ride, ATV ride, 4x4 and many other activities including Mountain Bike and what have you. You assume a lot from seeing someone do one activity!!!

Most trails in Utah are shared as well. It works awesome given everyone is cautious and courteous. Great vid!
