This is a very helpful and informative video, but it was hard to hear the voices. I'm going to keep listening until I can match your voices with the clicks on the editor. Thank you very much for putting the video here. It will help me to learn to build, and I appreciate that.

@RomanTribunusBrando, true but a mind will become creative and think using it's imagination once the tools that are taught to him are understood. Idea's start to flow do to exposure I think.

This is pretty simplistic, but a good starter. There are a lot of tips, tricks, and idiocyncrasies to prim manipulation and building rules. And then there are sculpties....

@freacls When you say, you "cracked" SL, what do you mean exactly? It's not a game, so there's nothing to "crack" or figure out. It's the same as just living life. No secrets.

When your showing how to rotate it looks like the guy behind is beating off

I right click and nothing happens. Do I need an advance account for that?

@AltiasNom yeah i have a few noob toys in my inventory but they take up so many prims im also thinking on building an Edward siccorhands type sim it be forever winter dark and snowing with his theme built into it and his gothic house and his sculptures and his big ice angel im 2 and 5 months in sl so no noob an oldie lol
-
@freacls It's fine, I lol'd a while after too.
But yeah, I've seen those.
Don't want one, but they're hilarious.
Apart from not being able to teach people to build, you CAN'T teach people to build. You can teach them tricks, but you can't hammer creativity into their skulls.

@cosha13 One of my favorite quotes of all time (believe it or not)
"You can train a noob, but then it'll just be a trained noob."
