Dals are very social dogs. They LOVE their people and want nothing more than to be with them. They're very friendly, but a bit stubborn. They will try to get their way! At least mine does!

My first dal was a liver spot. Don't see too many of them around, really. Dalmatians are just very very active, and can be high strung if they're not getting adequate exercise. I think the only mean dals you see are the ones with frustrated owners.

Generally pretty expensive to get from a breeder, as with a lot of pure breeds. I got Lily for $50 out of a newspaper classified ad when she was 5 months old, when her original owners were moving and couldn't take her with them.
