Bug Too! (Sega Saturn) - Part 2/13

My third play-through on YouTube!

This time I'm taking on "Bug Too!" for the Sega Saturn. The game was originally released in 1996 as the sequel to "Bug!", featuring 20 levels, all of which are parodies of movies. You can play as Bug or as one of his two sidekicks, SuperFly and Maggot Dog.

I recorded these videos using SSF 0.11 alpha, so please excuse the low frame rate!

I used to play this game all the time on the Sega Saturn. My two favorite parts in this video:

4:10 - "None shall pass!" *squish*

9:26 - "DIE WENSTON!!! LALALALALALALA! Come again."

omg massive nostalgia.. this was like the first game i played in my life, when i was around 7 or 8, back when the newest operating system was windows '98! good times, i loved that game (though i didnt understand anything about i loved playing it anyway xD mightve helped if i spoke english back then :P)

The games great and all, but I wish they had more than a year to have developed this game. It feels way too rushed, especially in the sound department. :[

Bug can fly? Amazing, he's putting his tiny little wings to good use!

That tunnel with the rolling rocks is actually pretty cool!

Nice to see they brought back the spit power-up. Though that boss wasn't anything special compared to the bosses of Bug. =/

I wouldn't suggest jumping on a mummy in real life...

That little flying thing you can do there wouldve sure helped on the original Bug!

I got back into playing it a couple weeks ago, it was always such a great fun game!!

Haha. I Wish I Could of Gotten this game. I saw it at the Swap meet and my dad would not get it for me.
