pretty much, yes. I was FOB in Tokyo in 1992 and the Keio-sen was then still manual, just like back in the 50s with the wickets manned with 10 or so ticket punchers.
Sad to think that here in California we don't have wickets as good as these from 1990, twenty years ago. We suck.
