Harvard Professor John Mack (who speaks on the video) is speaking about what he had heard the Dalai Lama say during a meeting with scientists that took place in the early 1990s. I don't know who the other scientists were, but I'm sure that the meeting is documented to show that it did occur.

A huge world wide campaign should begin where everyone is involved and everyone cares. Efforts have begun by others in ways (alternate fuels, energy, cleaning up ground pollution) but we need more done. It's really important and I can never comprehend why it wouldn't be to some people (politicians, etc.) A healthy world for all should always be #1 on the list. A PRIORITY.

It's how I've always felt. The environment issue has always been the most important to me and I've always been disgusted on how the earth is treated by industry and even people dumping their garbage (empty food cartons, cups, cans, etc.) out of their cars. Nobody seems to care. None of our officials seem to. It has to change. It's our home. we all have to live here AND future generations. How can we let this happen? Something has to be done. We ALL have to clean up the crap that idiots left.

What makes this nonsense is it's human bias, the "nature" of a objective sense, like an alien's, would include any decline or adversity a species might cause.
